Redwork Noel Stitch-a-Long, part 8

Hi everyone! Life remains crazy, but I'm making myself carve out time to stitch.

Here's where I was at our last check in: I had finished 90 out of 120 rows:

And here's where I am now:

That's 100 out of 120 rows done! Still a ways to go, but I see light at the end of the tunnel -- and am already pondering what to take on next!

Last time I teased a project I was working on for a friend's birthday. Happy to report that it was finished in plenty of time and Suz loved her gift.

It's a Mill Hill kit called Into the Woods. It's a tribute to her black cats, current and those who have crossed the rainbow bridge.

I'm going to keep working on "Noel", and hopefully will have 10 more rows done by our next check-in in three weeks.

The other stitchers in this stitch-a-long work on an amazing variety of projects. Go check out their blogs and get inspired : Avis, Claire, Gun, Christina, KathyMargaret, Megan, Deborah, Sharon, Daisy, Cathie, LindaMary MargaretCindy, and Helen.

    1. Thank you Cathie! I still always feel a little weird giving something I have made to a friend -- luckily, she's a stitcher, too, so she appreciates it!

  2. I love seeing the design come out on the top. Beautiful! Is it hard to stitch on the red? I found the charcoal gray almost impossible to stitch on because of couldn't see the holes!

    1. Thanks Mary Margaret! The red isn't too bad, actually -- at least compared to the black Aida I often stitch on. :)

  5. 10 rows a time sounds like a good pace. And allows you time for more fun things, like the lovely cats!

    1. Thanks, Claire -- I decided that setting a goal of 10 rows per check-in, and then stopping, meant that I wouldn't get bored of the project. There are so many things to stitch and so little time!

  8. Only 20 more rows and as you seem to be doing a steady 10 each posting that means only one more progress and then you will be happy dancing. xx
